AM4372: How to use PRCM block and mux to switch RTC clock for into GPIOs - for AM4372

Part Number: AM4372

I would like to measure the frequency from XTAL 32768 (for RTC crystal) from AM4372 with PRCM block I would like to use mux and switch this signal for GPIO (like on picture below). How I can do this from PINMUX configuration?

SPRUHL7G–April 2014–Revised June 2017

For example I would like to switch this frequency signal from RTC with mux from PRCM into one of these GPIOs below, but how ?

  • Hello,

We will need to consult with our expert on this topic who is currently out of office. We will follow up as quickly as we can when they return next week. Apologies for any delay.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • This 32768 Hz clock from the oscillator can only be directly routed to the CLKOUT1 signal function which is only multiplexed to the "xdma_event_intr0" pin.

For more information, refer to CLKOUT Signals section and the PRCM_CM_CLKOUT1_CTRL Register description in the device TRM.
