TDA4VM: Is it possible to have multiple apps getting image from camera

Hi TI experts,

We would like to have two or more applications getting images from the same camera at the same time.We've tried simply start two multi_cam demo apps and found the second one would encounter errors and failed to get images.

Is it possible to do so? And if yes, how to make it?

Hi,

Not directly, but you could use one graph capturing the images and it can share the captured images with the other graphs in the same application.

Thanks for you explaination. So is that means that it is possible to have multiple nodes connected to the capture node in one graph in the application, but not possible to have multiple applications using capture node for the same camera?

Hi,

Yes, you could connect capture node output to multiple other nodes, but not multiple capture nodes controlling same camera.
