AM625: flash /copy images to eMMC through UART .

Hi ,

I am working on am625 custom board .

i just want to copy the images (tiboot3.bin ,tispl.bin ,u-boot.img,Image ,dtb ,root file system ) into eMMC using UART .

Note : on my custom baoard SDCARD is not available.

Please share me the steps how to proceed .

Hi Naresh,

UART is way too slow (only 115200 bps) for downloading kernel Image or root filesystem (which is typically tens or hundreds of MB), it is not practical to flash Linux system through UART.

Do you have other interfaces, such as USB0 or Ethernet on your board?

Actually for the first time how to flash the eMMC through TFTP/NFS/ or using any other method ?

>> on my board ethernet is present

Note : SDCARD not avialble on the board .
