SK-AM64B: SK-AM64B vs TMDS64EVM- main differences

The primary difference is the expandability and what interfaces are brought out. TMDS64EVM in general has more interfaces like PCIe, and three Ethernets including up to 2 from ICSSG or CPSW3G which allows you to run the industrial Ethernet protocols toolkit software https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM64X/latest/exports/docs/api_guide_am64x/INDUSTRIAL_COMMS.html and the HSE connector for expansion with https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDS64DC01EVM or https://www.ti.com/tool/ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM . SK-AM64B in general has fewer interfaces but it does include WiFi connectivity and a Raspberry Pi 40-pin extension header. 

The other difference is SK-AM64B uses LPDDR4, and TMDS64EVM uses DDR4.

AM6412BSCGHAALV only supports CPSW3G based networking (the letter C in red), so the 3rd Ethernet port is one feature TMDS64EVM has that is not supported.

Hello Aida,

The other key difference is the SK-AM64B does not support eMMC. The eMMC port connects to WL1837 MODULE.
