TDA4VM: How many video encodings can J721E support at most?

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hello TI development team,

My team is currently developing TDA4VM.The SDK version we are using is 8.4.We found the following content in the documentation of J721E:

https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-jacinto7/08_04_00_11/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components_Multimedia_D5520_VXE384.html

However, the description we see in the documentation of J721S2 is as follows:

https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-j721s2/08_04_00_13/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components_Multimedia_wave5.html

So, we want to know whether J127E supports hardware acceleration video coding. If so, how many video coding channels can be achieved at most? What are the video resolution and frame rate?

At present, we have implemented video encoding with 1 channel of 1920 * 1080 30fps and 2 channels of 1280 * 960 20fps. But If we continue to increase it, the video frame rate will not meet our project requirements. We would like to know if this is caused by the performance limitations of the encoding plugin v4l2h264enc itself.

Thanks,

liang
