HOW to change the hal_eth_c6747e.lib in the NDK_2_0_0

my DSP is C6747.CCS is 3.3.

I want to use DSP communicating with PC.

my PHY chip is DM9161E.

I chang the file of csl_mdio.c localde in the C:\packages\ti\ndk\src\hal\evm6747\eth_c6747.

but I do not know how to change the hal_eth_c6747e.lib in the NDK_2_0_0 for using my file (csl_mdio.c).

As I know, .lib is not editable. You found the building project to build a .lib yourself.

You can either rebuild the HAL library or I believe you could even get away with throwing the csl_mdio.c file into your project. When the linker goes to link symbols together it should use the symbols from the csl_mdio.c file instead.

But I don't know how to rebuild.

I don't find the *.pjt about HAL.

I am not sure why but none of the HAL libraries come with a project file. As such there are two options from which you can choose:

- Build a project yourself
- Simply add the modified source file(s) into the project

If you choose the second option when the linker links the symbols it will link to the symbols in the object file created by the update source file instead of the old object in the library. This will be easier than creating a project and rebuilding the library, but it is not as elegant. Alternately you could simply add all the source files and remove the HAL library from your active project.
