SK-AM62A-LP: JTAG Emulator

Hello Experts,

My customer references our evaluation board to build their own board. They have five questions about SK-AM62A-LP.

1. They think that F/W for XDS emulator IC (TM4C1294NCPDT3R) will be required to control JTAG via USB. Is their understanding correct?
2. If 1 is yes, does TI provide the F/W?
3. If 1 is yes, what kind of interfaces, tools, etc. will be required to flash the F/W on the IC(TM4C1294NCPDT3R)?
4. Is it possible to flash F/W even after mounting TM4C1294NCPDT3R on the board? (It would be helpful if you could tell us how to do it.)
5. If they are not using an XDS emulator and are debugging using partner-jet2 etc from the JTAG 20 pin, is there any disadvantages (such as no support from TI, etc) compared to XDS?

Best regards,
Ken
