IOs have multiple functions defined by the muxmode. 

Not selected muxmode means the IO modes that has not been configured or selected.

DSIS is for the mux mode that is not selected.

Hi Sreenivasa,

I think I understand now. So regardless of what is selected by muxmode, the input is always connected to these different modules (ie. for ball number J22, the input is always connected to UART, GPIO, SPI, etc...) So when UART is selected by muxmode, for all other non-selected signals, DSIS value is driven. Is this correct?

You are understanding seem to be mostly correct.

The signals or the level connected is defined in the DSIS column of the pin attributes table.
