AM625: AM625 HS doesn't boot using SD CARD boot UDA, but boot using AM623 GP

Part Number: AM625
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM623,

Hello,

We have to prototype using AM62x.

Proto A using AM623 GP

Proto B using AM625 HS-FS

When using the same Linux  SDK86 boot file the SD Card boot on Proto A but doesn't boot on proto B.

Here is the message :

U-Boot SPL 2021.01-g2ee8efd654 (Dec 04 2023 - 15:21:37 +0000)
SYSFW ABI: 3.1 (firmware rev 0x0008 '8.6.4--v08.06.04 (Chill Capybar')
SPL initial stack usage: 13424 bytes
Trying to boot from MMC2
mmc fail to send stop cmd
spl_load_image_fat: error reading image tispl.bin, err - -2
SPL: failed to boot from all boot devices
### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###

So switching to tftp boot on ethernet with the same file then proto B boot and go to u-boot prompt.

Here is the mmc info of the SD Card :

=> mmc info (Verbatim PROTO B u-boot sdk86)
Device: mmc@fa00000
Manufacturer ID: 27
OEM: 5048
Name: SD16G
Bus Speed: 200000000

Rd Block Len: 512
SD version 3.0
High Capacity: Yes
Capacity: 14.4 GiB
Bus Width: 4-bit

Could you confirm that the AM623 GP and AM625 HS-FS is managing the SD Card the same way.

Could you help us to fix this critical issue?

Regards,

Alexis.
