Do you still have the problem now? I don't see it in Firefox:

My Linux console which manually started Firefox from doesn't have such error message either.

Yes, I am currently seeing it in Firefox on Linux. They do load okay on chrome on the same computer but chromes console also prints out a bunch of No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' messages.

This is likely a server configuration problem with downloads.ti.com that needs to return an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header allowing software-dl.ti.com to fetch resources.

Note the error messages are seen in the browser console which can be accessed by right clicking on the page and selecting inspect.

I am not sure what has happened, or I didn't provide the link correctly at the first place, now check the link, even the text shows "10_00_07_04", the URL actually has "latest", which is known broken.

Thanks Bin. The link is going to the 10.00.07.04 URL, but its still not working. I'm still receiving a bunch of "The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource" errors.

This is likely a nginx or apache config issue with the https://downloads.ti.com/ server. which needs to send a Access-Control-Allow-Origin header telling the browser software-dl.ti.com is allowed to fetch these files.

Or where ever these fonts are getting called out in the wiki page theme, they should use relative paths instead of absolute.

If I access the page from the following URL, it all works since the page is loaded from downloads.ti.com and is fetching its files from downloads.ti.com

Besides these errors in the console, do you see if any picture is not downloaded/rendered properly?

What I see from outside of TI network, software-dl.ti.com with "latest" in the URL, no pictures are rendered, but with the exact version "10_00_07_04", everything in html seems to be rendered properly.

The SDK10.00.07.04 documentation referred in this thread is already archived. Please either use the documentation in the latest SDK, or use the "downloads.ti.com" url mentioned above as a workaround of the issue.

Sigh sorry to bother you Bin, it seems like support didn't bother to read my initial bug report. The issue that was reported in this e2e post still effects the latest SDK. Its not something specific to 10.00.07.04. Its a web server configuration issue...

No worries at all. I do apologize for that back to months ago when we worked on this problem, I thought the issue was only on the SDK10.0 doc, but was not in the newer version.

Anyway, last night I checked on the SDK11.01 doc on my personal PC (Linux), using Firefox and Brave browsers. Both give the very similar network traffic error messages as that you show in the screenshot above, and Firefox renders the html page with the same error (missing components), while Brave can render the html page properly.

So do you not think the problem is on the browser side?

It seems like Brave is not following the CORS spec? Chrome also seems to work, which considering both Brave and Chrome are chromium based I suppose makes sense.

Chrome despite "failing" to download the fonts, still somehow manages to render the fonts on the page. fontawesome is a really popular framework so maybe chrome is cheating somehow and using an internal cache of the fonts...

CORS is intended to block cross site requests, exactly like this one. In this case, https://software-dl.ti.com/ is trying to download files from a separate website https://downloads.ti.com.

The webserver downloads.ti.com; needs to send a Access-Control-Allow-Origin header telling the browser software-dl.ti.com is allowed to fetch these files.

The webserver in question appears to be Akamai (a popular CDN), which has documentation on setting this header. techdocs.akamai.com/.../default-cors-policy-rule

Note that fetching from downloads.ti.com does seem to be intentional since the software-dl.ti.com web server is issuing a 302 redirect telling the browser it should fetch from downloads.ti.com.
