TDA4VM: How to read MCU_SEC_MMR0_CFG0 from MCU_R5F ?

Part Number: TDA4VM

Tool/software:

Hello TI,

we want to periodically read the MCU_SEC_MMR0_CFG0 register content (at 45A5.0040h) to check if the MCU_R5F cluster is (still) operated in lockstep mode.

In some other theads on the E2E forums it was stated that access to this register is firewalled and is only possible with a SciClient call.

Can you please provide a source code example on which exact SciClient service call should be used to receive the register content ?

On the other hand, it is also stated somewhere on E2E that, if a mode change should be performed, a reset of the core cluster is necessary to make this change happen.
So does it make sense to perform a periodic register check or is it enougth to check the propper configuration of the core cluster just once after the register was written?

BR,
Bernd
