URGENT

Hello friends,

Recently I am getting a loading error in CCSv4.2.4 . I am targeting C6748/OMAPL138 SoM and attached ..\gel\OMAPL138_DSP to DSP/OMAPL138 and ..\gel\TI_Update_OMAPL138_ARM.gel to ARM/OMAPL138. These are recent files downloaded from LogicPD. I am showing the screen shot below,

This is CCSV4.2.4, SysBIOS(default). I refer to document “SPRS586B–JUNE 2009–REVISED AUGUST 2010” the table 3-4 , this address is corresponding to DDR2 data memory on DSP side. How to use this information and modify the gel file. Is it required at all?

When I change the GEL file to C6748.gel from OMAPL138_DSP .gel it is loading the file but audio is not getting acquired.I can perceive a click sound but not the music/audio. I cross verified the hardware and all the software set up by running the logicPd audio test program and find that they are working for both C6748.gel and OMAPL138_DEP.gel.

I am in state of confusion and I sincerely request somebody from forum to resolve this problem today.

Prat,

This issue does not appear to be BIOS related, but rather a generic device software question. I have moved this thread to the OMAP-L13x forum in hopes that it will get a faster response there.

If the above posts don't help, please also provide a better snapshot of the exact error message, the current jpg is a bit fuzzy.

Dear Mukul,

I followed the above threads. I already tried with different gel files and changed clock settings to 1MHz adaptive. But it did not work.

Any more suggestions please?

Can you share the gel file, especially if you are modifying them.

Also when you switch to C6748.gel, what is the audio test that you are running? Is it BSL code, BIOS PSP audio example or something custom?

The bitmap is still fuzzy, can you just cut and paste the error message instead?

Dear Mukul,

I am not editing the gel files. I am not that much experienced.

I test BSL audio test when changing to C6748.gel.

C_674I_0: File loader Data verification failed at address 0xc3018ef0. Please verify the target memory map. Error found during verification.

Hello,

This problem is resolved now.

I stop connecting the ETB from XDS100V2 emulator. I only connect either ARM9 or DSP of OMAPL138 and do some standard power cycling whenever such error related to file loading occurs.
