Making DSPs JTAG!

Hi everybody!

I want to make an JTAG for DSPs and in TMDX5535EZDSP schematic, I found that only a single FT2232 is used.  (http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/ezdsp5535/revc/files/ezdsp5535_Schematics_RevC.pdf)

Is it possible to make a low cost JTAG for DSPs like the schematic above ?
