Thanks for sharing your experience regarding the 0x0016 - Invalid mailbox configuration error.
You mentioned that the issue was resolved after fixing some compiler defines related to data types when porting to STM32.

Could you please specify exactly which data type definitions were missing or incorrect?
It would be really helpful to know which typedef or #define statements were critical in solving the problem.

Hi,

If you're facing ALSTATUSCODE_INVALIDMBXCFGINPREOP error, better option would be to put a breakpoint at the location where it is being assigned and back-track the if condition and fix the corresponding macro value.

Most common scenarios include MAX_MBX_SIZE not configured correctly based on the Mailbox size configured in the ESI file, or MAX_MBX_WRITE_ADDRESS is not increased to match the ESI configuration for the physical address.

I have a TMC5480A-BOB-ETH V1.0 board and I would like to use it in conjunction with an STM32F4 microcontroller. Currently, I am working on integrating the board as part of an EtherCAT-based application.
