Hi support,

How do I determine which page the DEVICE Registers in Table 6-25 belong to when accessing them via I2C?
When only I2C1 is used, what is the device address for accessing the watchdog registers in page 4 via I2C? Assuming I2C1_ID = 0x28, I2C2_ID = 0x12.Thank you and best wishes, wenjin

Hi Wenjin,

1. All the registers you should need are on pages 0 or 4 (for watchdog).

2. Watchdog registers are always accessed by I2C2_ID which typically is 0x12. It doesn't matter if I2C1 or I2C2 bus is used.

Note that this example in the data sheet is wrong as I2C1_ID can't be 0x26. Only 0xY0, 0xY4, 0xY8 and 0xYC (Y=0,1,2,3,4...) are possible. The I2C address will depend on the specific orderable part number.

Hi Niko,

In the part we are using, the I2C2_ID is 0x12, so is it correct to access page 4 directly through the device address 0010010x without changing the highlighted lower two bits?
