Add new H.264 codecs to the codecs combo

Hi!

I have problem to add H.264 codec to my codec combo. I used all the codecs with the DVSDK_3_10_00_19. It works. When I tried to update the combo with the latest H.264 codecs (1.10.05.07). I download and install the codes to my linux clone. I copy the h264dec directory to my dvsdk directory and build the codec combo again. After the build is ready, I copy it to my target. However, it doesn't work when I call the create_ti_decoder, it failed.

Is it the way to update the codecs ?

Hi Philip,

Combo building after copying complete h264dec packge should work. Can you pls try building the combo by raplcing only h264dec lib and ih264vdec.h file in dvsdk.

If decoder failed during create time means, its better to cross check the resources whether they are available for decoder. Since its a latest release pls go through the user guide for more information on updates.
