Hi,
In EVM schematic M24- DSP VCL , M23- DSP VD are connected to PM bus but in 6678 datasheet they are reserved pins & should be left unconnected.
Can i left unconnect Please give solution.
Thanks & Regards,
Prasad.

Hi Srinivasaprasad,
I would recommend you to follow data sheet recomendation. Please also see following link:

Hi Majda,
Thank you for answer & quick response. In advantech 6678 EVM .XML File for power controller ucd9222 Configuration it is given as 6bit VID.But nowhere in the 6678 data manual mentioned about 6 bit VID interface. Only in hardware design guidelines document 6 bit VID interface is mentioned.
Please let me know what is default VID interface 4bit or 6bit is coming for C6678. Also mention in which document default settings are given for C6678.
Thanks & Regards,
SrinivasaPrasad.
Please follow the HW Design Guidelines for board design. The C6678 does not support a 4 bit VID, it supports a 6 bit VID, via the VCNTL[3:0] pins (3 for data, 1 for control - the 6 bits are sent in two transimissions.) The Data Manual briefly discusses this and then references the HW Design Guidelines for implementation.
Best Regards,
Chad
Hi Chad Counrtney!
My code run away in my board. And the CVDD in my board is normal before running my code, but the CVDD is ov after my code run away. What's the problem?
