Hello,
Jelly Bean first release on OMAP4 is available here: http://omapedia.org/wiki/4AJ.1.0_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes. Pre-built binaries have been uploaded at this location, under Blaze Tablet: http://omapedia.org/wiki/Android:_Working_with_pre-built_binaries.

Magdalena
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your reply. As I mentioned I am working with a blaze mobile device NOT a tablet. Is it ok to use the blaze tablet prebuilt binaries on blaze mobile?
Thanks,
Alireza
Alireza,
No, you cannot use binaries for Blaze Tablet on Blaze or vice-versa. You will need to build the release specifically for Blaze. I suggest that you move to the latest Jellybean release (4AJ.1.1), and follow the instructions in the release notes for building for Blaze: http://omapedia.org/wiki/4AJ.1.1_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes
However, please keep in mind that this release is officially supported and tested only on Blaze Tablet.
Regards,
Gina
Hi Alireza,
Did you manage to boot up the Blaze mobile device using 4AJ.1.1 release? If you did, would you mind to share your experience with me? like do you need to apply additional tweaks to make it run? and is it fully running?
Best Regards
Yong
Yong,
The 4AJ.1.1 release should run fine on Blaze, per the instructions in the omappedia release notes, even though Blaze Tablet is the officially supported platform which the release is validated on. Are you running into an issue? If so, can you please start a new E2E thread specific to the particular issue that you are facing?
Thank you,
Gina
I was able to build and run 4AJ.1.1 release on Blaze without any additional tweaks.
Best regards,
Alexey
Hi,
I am actually having no issue running it using eMMC fastboot method but I do if I use SD card method.
Does anyone have this issue?
Hi All,
Thanks a lot for the follow up. I understand that I can compile / build the release for Blaze platform. my question was whether I can use the pre-built binaries (blaze tablet) on blaze platform. I think not! Do you know if there is going to be a pre-built binary for blaze platform? I want to skip the compilation step as it takes couple of days ...
Alireza,
No, you cannot use binaries for Blaze Tablet on Blaze or vice-versa. You will need to build the release specifically for Blaze. We have posted the pre-built binaries for Blaze Tablet, since that is the official platform for the 4AJ releases on which the release testing is done. However, we will look at adding the pre-built binaries for Blaze as well.
Regards,
Gina
Hi Alireza,
Now there are some JB public prebuild binaries for blaze in omappedia. Just remember that the official supported platform is the Blaze Tablet.
