dm8168 scd problem and dsp alg develop?

Hi all

i develop on dm8168 evm board using dvrrdk 2.80,

and now i want to write my own alg through changing scd link ,

and i read the scd code, i found a file scd.ae674 , it seems a lib ,i have some questions about this

1. where is the source code then?

2.Is that a alg lib followed XDAIS standard ?

3.how to create such a lib for my application then?

4.it seems no codec engine packet in dvrrdk , dose it mean that to develop alg for dm8168  dsp no codec engine needed ?

5.which tools are used in dvrrdk to develop scd ?

As no experience  develop dsp algs on Davinci platform ， i  want to kown clearly how to start this work?

    Xavier,

    I noticed that you haven't received a response to your question; however, I believe that SCD and the DVR RDK was developed by a 3rd party (UD Works) and not by TI, so you may not get much in terms of responses here.  If you have any device specific questions, I suggest you post them directly to the DM816x forum.
