AM335x EtherCAT Register List incorrect

Please see the AM335x EtherCAT firmware API guide which is included in the ISDKv1.0.0.8 or v1.0.0.9.
The following descriptions in the AM335x EtherCAT Register List are different from the register descriptions in ESC specification.

- Watchdog Status Process Data (Register offset: 0x0440-0x0441)

- SM 0 mode (Bits: 0-1) in the Control Register SyncManager 0 (Register offset: 0x0804)

The descriptions in Wiki's Register List are according to ESC specification.

Is the AM335x EtherCAT Register List in the ISDK's API document incorrect?

Hi,

Yes - the documentation included in ISDK 1.0.0.8/1.0.0.9 is incorrect for these two register descriptions highlighted above - we have been made aware of this discrepancy last week by a forum post. This is fixed in wiki documentation right now and will be included in next update of SDK.

Note that this is a documentation error and ESC firmware behaves as per the ESC register spec here, http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_EtherCAT_firmware_API_guide#AM335x_EtherCAT_Register_List.
