Hello ,

I use TI AER in my project.But I need some problem with it.

aer_ctl.modes_0.value = 0x188f;

aer_ctl.modes_1.value = 0xc1ce;

aer_ctl.phone_mode= aer_PHM_HF;

......

I set the phone mode of aer_PHM_HF .When the speaker play voice,the Tx signal attenuate very severe and the far end can not hear anything . I have tired to increase gain_tx_digital,but there is no effect. How can I do?

I have some question with AER_Quick_Tuning_Guide.

1, Calibration for Send Path Gain

It tell me to adjust the ADC analog gain until the captured signal level is -15dBFS,but I can adjust the microphone gain or AIC3106_ADC gain to achieve this goals. How can I do?Waiting for your reply.

Hi Carmili,

Did you mean you cannot adjust the microphone gain or AIC gain? AIC gain should be adjustable. If you can adjust AIC gain, then adjust it untill you get captured signal level to -15dBFS.

Ajust the DAC analog gain on DUT until the acoustic level measured by the sound level
meter reaches 70dBSPL.

Does it means AER must be always running above 70dBSPL?

No, it doesn't mean that. This 70dBSPL level would be the loudness of a phone at the nominal volume level. The gains in Rx and Tx paths need to be calibrated to produce proper loudness such that your device can communicate with other devices. Proper gains will also let AER work under normal conditions.
