Hello.
The AM335x incorporates hardware time stamping inside the CPU.
According to the overview, the TMDXEVM3358 supports the IEEE1588 hardware time stamping.
My question is if IEEE1588 is implemented inside the AM335x why the AR8031 PHY, which also
includes hardware time stamping, is in use on this evaluation board?
Could you provide some numbers about what accuracy is conceivable on this board ?
