QT library issue on AM335x starter kit

Hi all,

I am using AM335x starter kit with SDK 8. When ever I run a QT application with -qws extension, i get this error :

Unable to load library icui18n "Cannot load library icui18n: (icui18n: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

My host PC is ubuntu 14.04 .Any solution to this problem.

Hello Vijay,

When you install the attached "International Component for Unicode" libraries the error should disappear.
I took them from my OE build system. They were located in: build/arago-tmp-external-linaro-toolchain/work/cortexa8t2hf-vfp-neon-oe-linux-gnueabi/icu/51.2-r0/deploy-ipks/cortexa8t2hf-vfp-neon

You can install them in this order:

opkg install ./libicudata51_51.2-r0_cortexa8t2hf-vfp-neon.ipk
opkg install ./libicuuc51_51.2-r0_cortexa8t2hf-vfp-neon.ipk
opkg install ./libicui18n51_51.2-r0_cortexa8t2hf-vfp-neon.ipk

Thanks a lot kemal R Shakir. I installed these libraries inside my RFS.
