placing _c_int00 at 0x800000 for C6457 using CCS4

Hi,

I want to place the _c_int00 at 0x800000 as this the location the DSP starts executing after HPI boot.

In the tcf file I tried to change the Statrup code section .sysinit ( under BIOS Code Tab of the MEM section) but the drop list shows only two entries IRAM and DDR2, it does not show the Memory sections I created called "boot".

Any ideas how to do this?

Hi Mariana,

Thanks for your reply, I did have a look at the posts, but unfortunately CCS doesnot allow me to select a module defined by me using the Insert Memory option. I can select just the ones that were there when i created the tcf file ( also I am using DSP Bios 5 )

Hi Pavan,

In DSP/BIOS 5 you should be able to create a new memory section without any issues at all as described in this forum post:
