Audio Tracking Logic peripheral documentation

I'm looking for documentation for the Audio Tracking Logic (ATL) peripheral present on the 8107 and 814x (we are using 8107).  We may need to use this peripheral as a MCASP clock source, but I can't find any information on it beyond a brief mention in the 8107 Datasheet document - section 8.3 - and some mentions in the TRM.  I also looked in the 814x docs and couldn't find anything.

  • Hi Shawn,

The ATL module is fully documented in the Jacinto4/5 DRA64x/65x datasheet (SPRS694B) and TRM (SPRUGI5C). Jacinto4/5 is the automotive version of the 814x device, so ATL module should be the same. The Jacinto4/5 documentation (datasheet and TRM) is under NDA and available through local TI representative.

Note that this lack of info for ATL in 8107 documentation might be indication that this ATL module does not work properly in this device and/or there is no SW support for it.

    Regards,
    Pavel
