Hi,

We have not yet validated OpenCV in the context of Processor SDK - Linux Automotive. The Linux Automotive SDK is based on the Processor SDK. Open CV has been validated as part of Processor SDK. You can download

www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X

and try out OpenCV on the DRA7X EVM.

DRA7x is the same device family as AM57x.

Hi,

We tried your instructions by flashing AM57x Sitara Processor SDK image on to Jacinto Vayu board.

We prepared the sdcard following the instructions at below link

But while booting we see below error message on minicom

U-Boot SPL 2014.07-00010-g70dff60 (Jun 27 2016 - 11:10:59)
DRA752-GP ES2.0
spl: mmc init failed: err - -19
### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###

Below are switch setting we are using

SYSBOOT setting - 11100000 10000001
SW5 settings - 00011000

All the other settings with board seems alright as we can boot the board with GLSDK for Jacinto Vayu board

Hi,

I found that Processor SDK does not build the u-boot/kernel for the DRA7xx EVM by default. This is probably the reason for the boot not working. I am working on testing OpenCV on DRA7xx EVM. I will have an update by the end of the week.

Hi,

WIll you be able to do a yocto build as described in

processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php

The 3.01 filesystem is missing a few OpenCV related files. Fixing it requires update of a two yocto recipes and rebuilding the filesystem. These files will be included in the 3.02 release.
