66AK2G02: power down sequence in discrete power design

Dear Champs,

I learnt it is mandatory to design power down sequence in K2G power design from below e2e post. but I found there was no power down sequence designed in our ICE EVM schematic.

I found there is no power-down sequence in our ICE board design, and I heard it is hard to design power-down sequence using discrete power.

Could you please confirm if this is OK?

Hi,

As stated it is a better idea to ensure that you have both power up & power down sequences. And, yes, it is difficult to design power-down sequence using discrete power.

So my advice would be to use a PMIC if possible. If not you should be safe with the current ICE reference design as well. Again looping the hw designers to confirm.

Thanks for your comment. I also found a comments that the power supplies down in any sequence shouldn't cause any problems with the K2G in below.
