We are designing our custom board on AM5728 Processor
We are thinking to go with 16GB eMMC NAND Flash Memory .
We have selected the memory chip, but it comes with 5.1 JEDEC Standard and it supports HS400 mode.
The eMMC JEDEC Standard in AM5728 is limited to 4.5 and HS200 mode
So my question is by using a 5.1 JEDEC and HS400 mode eMMC NAND Flash chip, will there be any backward compatibility when i interface it to the processor.??
In AM57X IDK , a 16 GB eMMC NAND Flash is used with its JEDEC standard being 5.0 . So can i consider 5.1 is also backward compatible ?
