Linux/DRA725: How to matain multi instance for VPE

There are four D1 inpus channel in my device, I want to deinterlace simultaneously.

How to matain four instance base on signal VPE device file /dev/video0.

Is there a reference example?

Hi Yordan,

My SDK version is 3.02.00.03.
I have found the esample testvpe and capturevpedisplay.
But they are only process one channel , and matain single instance for VPE.

Hello, VPE driver registers a v4l2 m2m device which can work for multiple instances. Each open of the device creates a new context and all the jobs submitted for them are scheduled by the driver linearly. You can use VPE from multiple instance opening the same device multiple times in same or different processes. Regards, NIkhil D
