Hi there,

The custom OMAPL138 board is using different Card Detect GPIO pin than compare to the OMAP L138 LCDK, where should this be changed?
and any idea why did the booting stopped ? (I have attached the log in my previous reply) Thanks.

Hi there,

I am using OMAP L138 LCDK board and managed to install SDK 4.0.0.4 and also managed to rebuild the UBoot and Linux Kernel.

Hi Mitesh,

In the log shared by you, the kernel seems to be up and there is problem in mounting the rootfs. Please check your boot args and environment variables properly to initialize the rootfs partition. Also check your dts which should specify mmc/sd correctly.

Hi Prabhuraj,

I didn't realise we can change the device tree dts files.

All I want to do is instead of using the GPIO 64 (GP4[1]) for SD card detect logic, I want to use GPIO 65 (GP4[1]).

I have made that changed in the da850-lcdk.dts file but still it made not difference. However, when I tried to compile the device tree, it prompted nothing to build! I expected it would re-compiler. Am I changing the right file?

Do you expect the device tree file to be changed if some of the GPIO pins are not same as the LCDK OMAPL138 board?

Hi Prabhuraj,

I managed to get thos working now:
had to change the following in da850-lcdk.dts file

&mmc0 {
max-frequency = <50000000>;
bus-width = <4>;
pinctrl-names = "default";
pinctrl-0 = <&mmc0_pins>;
cd-gpios = <&gpio 65 GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW>;
status = "okay";
};
