Linux/DRA750: Maximum size support for USB/MMC/eMMC

Hi all,

We are working on DRA75x based infotainment platform based on Processor SDK, kernel v4.4. We are in process of designing custom board for the same. We would like to know what are the maximum size of memory we can attach to the DRA 75x based board.

I found out that Micron's eMMC can support upto 64GB but couldn't find much info about USB and MMC.

Please provide your valuable inputs.

Hi, prabhuraj tavag20,

Check this thread for MMC size:

Pay attention that J6 MMC/SD controllers do not handle exFAT format, hence SDXC is not supported.

I will ask around if there any limitation about USB.

Are you thinking about USB->USB stick type of usage? There should not be any limitation.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am looking at USB stick size limit on DRA7x. We are planning to use 64GB/128GB usb stick for storing media files.
