TMS320C6678: C program for communication of two tasks using Queue

Dear Sir,

I am Mounika. I am currently learning CCS tool for TMS320C6678 processor. I want C program for communication of two tasks using Queue.

For example, Suppose first create two Tasks say Task A and Task B . Send a message from Task A through queue , then Task B has to reply to this message.Its like duplex kind of application . Both tasks have to send and reply to the message . Messages must be displayed. Can you please help me in this.?

Hello Sir,

The solution given by you comes under IPC. I want to use Queue for sending and receiving messages from one task to another task.

Ok, Now I understand your question. I suggest you linked below SYS/BIOS (TI-RTOS Kernel) user's guide. Pay attention on the example in section 4.5 and Queue_create function:

I have already checked the example mentioned by you. I know how to create Queue and Task . But I got stuck with how to use Queue_get and Queue_put for sending and receiving messages from task. Can you please direct me with code example on how to do this?

I'm afraid that the suggested SYS/BIOS guide probably does not give you the complete decision which you need but you can refer to sections 3.8 and HwiSwiTaskExample.c and 4.4. semtest.c where Queue_get and Queue_put have been used.
