On TI's dev board there are two ethernet jacks, Eth0 and Eth1. We can ping either port when cables are plugged into Eth1 and Eth0. The problem is we cannot ping Eth0 when a cable is not plugged into Eth1. We need these ethernet ports to behave independently of each other. Any idea why Eth0 is only "enabled" when Eth1 is in use?
To clarify, Eth1 works as expected when a cable is plugged into Eth1. Eth0 only works if Eth1 is ALSO being used. Eth0 alone doesn't work. We need Eth0 is work without Eth1 necessarily being used at the same time.
