Linux/AM5728: Jailhouse non-root Linux

Hi,

I'm using processor SDk 4.02 and trying to get a non-root Linux to boot in a jailhouse cell on cpu 1. Has any work been done on this already as wiki only describes RTOS or bare metal examples?

Iain,

No, non-root Linux in Jailhouse is not exercised in Processor SDK, only RTOS and bare metal examples are provided.
Based on the Jailhouse documentation - github.com/.../non-root-linux.txt, it seems Jailhouse should be able to run unmodified ARM linux on non-root cells.

Hi Bin,

Thanks for confirming that there is no background work going on for a non-root Linux. It is unfortunately not as simple as running a standard linux with a reduced device tree - at least for an AM5728/DRA7xx where there is quite a lot of non device tree controlled kernel initialisation going on.
