Hi!

I'm using MLO, u-boot.img and arago-base-tisdk-image-am57xx-evm.tar.xz from ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.01.00.11 on board BeagleBoard-X15 REVC. I'm able to start the board, launch Target Configuration for Device AM5276 using CCS (XDS200 USB debugger) and connect to the ARM cores but when I try connecting to the DSP1 core I get the error:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -6305) PRSC module failed to write to a router register.
(Emulation package 8.0.27.9)

Keep in mind that I try to connect to the ARM cores just to test the debugger and target configuration file.

CCS version: Version: 8.1.0.00011

Is this issue know to you?
Any ideas if I’m missing something?

Thanks for the reply.

I tried to turn on power by running:
"echo on > /sys/bus/platform/devices/40800000.dsp/power/control"
Checked if it was on by runinng:
"cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/40800000.dsp/power/control"
Got the response "on"

But could not connect to the DSP1, error message is:
C66xx_DSP1: Error connecting to the target: (Error -6305) PRSC module failed to write to a router register. (Emulation package 8.0.27.9)

Hi,

Without running Linux (e.g., removing the SD card), are you able to connect to A15 core first, then DSP core with CCS/JTAG?

Hi,

I checked with Linux team, the CCS JTAG to DSP connection was broken in processor sdk linux am57x 5.0 and 5.1 releases, it worked in 4.3 release. before. We have this issue tracked and will fix it in next processor sdk linux am57x 5.2 release, sorry for this!

Hi,

Processor Linux SDK is released at the end of every quarter. So, 5.2 release will be available end of this year.
