Linux/AM5728: H264 encoding problem?

Using videnc2test for 640x480 image h264 encoding in the file system has the following problem:

1 Playing images of h264 video files using VLC is especially fast.

2 Using VLC to view h264 files, there is a frame loss phenomenon.

root@am57xx-evm:~# videnc2test 640 480 388 frame.yuv out.h264 15 512 h264 baseline 41 OMAPDRM

Hello,

I can not open this file in VLC.

However you could try this line:

root@am57xx-evm:~# videnc2test 640 480 388 frame.yuv out.h264 25 512 h264 baseline 41 OMAPDRM

I changed the fps since the VLC play the video with 25 fps. The fps was 15. Please compare this line with yours.

If you want to try the video with 15fps you could change the fps in VLC.

In the VLC menu select TOOLS->PREFERENCES. In the left at the bottom you must select show settings all.

Select Demuxers->H264 and change the fps.
