My customer is using a voltage divider from the core voltage (1.35V) to create the 0.5V Vref for the DAC, do you think that this will be too noisey. He is decoupling the 0.5V at the DAC VREF pin.

If your customer follows the DM365 data sheet ,Figure 6-39 for decoupling the DAC VREF pin and the core voltage rail is 1.35V clean, it should be fine, assuming they are using the DM365 device.
