CCS: tidl OD use case running through QSPI

Dear Sir,

I was trying to run OD usecase through QSPI on TDA2x but faced the error "***QSPI flash failed". after loading the AppImage path on console.

AppImage size is 32MB even building with only TIDL OD usecase.

Kindly help me.

Hi Shivansh,

Is the DDR stable? Have you made any changes to the SDK?
Are you flashing AppImage_BE?

Yes DDR is stable

Yes I am using AppImage_BE only as per the guide

first: I build the whole vsdk and then tried to run the tidl_OD case through QSPI and faced the error
"Given file cannot read into memory since it's size exceeds the allowed memory limit....
******************QSPI flash failed****************"

second: I did Yes to tidl_od case only and rebulid

faced the same issue with both.

Hi,

This error can occur only when application image size is more than 31.5 MB.
Can you specify the exact image size

Hi Shivansh,

One simple way of doing this is removing CPUs that are not need by a particular use case.
You can disable CPUs by modifying PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_06_00_00\vision_sdk\apps\configs\tda2xx_evm_bios_all\cfg.mk.
