MSP-GANG Programmer Individual Port Reset

Hello,

New here, not sure if I put this thread in the right forum.

I have an MSP-GANG Programmer and will be programming 6 chips at once. Afterwards I would like the ability to reset each port one at a time. Is this possible? The schematic makes it seem like it is, but from the provided GUI the reset button seems to affect all 8 ports. I will be interfacing through msp-gang.dll. I have tried to individually set which ports are active and then reset with no avail.

Hello Jesse,

Thanks for your detailed post. Unfortunately, the MSP-GANG doesn't support individual resets for the target devices. Are you able to reset the device on its board using a push button driving the RST pin to GND? If this is a final product, then probably not. Perhaps there's another way you could reset the devices manually.
