AM3359: DP83822 RX_CLK pin state

HI TEAM,

I'm using the above processor and DP83822IFRHBR phy chip , i'm interfacing it through MII interface, i want to know what will the state of RX_CLK pin when it is RESET.AS in the datasheet , it is showing only output and what will the resistor value internal PD of the RX_CLK pin.

The processor pin is LCD_DATA14

Look in Table 4-2 from the AM335x Datasheet Rev. K:

Pin LCD_DATA14 (ball V4 on the ZCZ package) is High Impedance, in Mode 7 (GPIO0_10) at reset release time, with no internal pullup or pulldown enabled. You should note that this pin is also SYSBOOT14, and it requires an external pullup or pulldown resistor for boot configuration. The SYSBOOT value is latched in the device at reset release time.

As you can see in the above figure , i have interfaced like this, please tell me that whether the state of RX_CLK of PHY will affect the boot configuration while resetting.

you need to isolate the RX_CLK signal on the PHY side too. You can refer to the AMIC110 ICE schematic for the implementation: www.ti.com/.../sprr278
