Linux/AM3352: PWM on GPIO

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Hi Team,

We need to generate PWM signals on following GPIOs of AM335x (ZCE ball) processor:

  1. GPIO0_17 [N18] [mcasp0_axr0]
  2. GPIO2_18 [N17] [mcasp0_ahclkx]
  3. GPIO2_19 [N16] [mcasp0_axr1]

We can understand, Its easy to generate PWM on dedicated pin like GPIO0_22 (V17) (ehrpwm2A) but finding way to generate PWM on above normal GPIOs.

Also, We can generate PWM on above GPIOs using application but it will not provide sufficient accuracy.

Can you please suggest the best alternate way to generate accurate PWM on above mentioned three GPIOs?

Please let me know if any further information required

Thanks,

Harsh
