DRA80M: Power Consumption and Suspend to RAM support feature

1. According to datasheet, "Power Estimation SpreadSheet provided in DRA80x Power Consumption Model." Could you provide the spreadsheet?

2. Is "Suspend to RAM" feature is supported in DRA802 based on Linux SDK? If yes, what is the power consumption?

I'm responding to #2, Suspend to RAM is not supported in the Linux SDK.

I'm the software RD from ASKEY automotive division.

I would like to confirm more detail about the suspend/resume ability.

DRA80x cannot support suspend to RAM is due to hardware or software limitation?

Does TI have any plan to support this feature?

Since our customer needs a fast response and low power consumption ability, please help us to confirm that.

Hi Thomas,

The DRA80x, from a hardware perspective can support the Suspend/Resume capability.

However, we do not have a software SDK plan to implement this feature.

There are various quick boot and fast response features that are available/planned for the DRA80x SDK. Please discuss this with James to understand the various fast requirements that we can demonstrate on the EVM with the DRA80x today.

I suggest that you work with James offline and have more direct discussions on this topic.
