AMIC110: DDR-less EtherCAT

Hi Sir

if as the EtherCAT to make IO control.The Chip AMIC110 wether not use the external DDR? And Have some training or user document to help me complete a example project?

Lei,

Ethernet/IP both program and data memory is too much to fit into internal memory of AMIC110.

As I know, TI will develop drrless versions with multiple protocols? So why Ethernet/IP is one of them?

Hi,

Some of protocols requires larger memory which is not available in certain processors, such as Ethernet/IP is not possible to fit into internal memory of AMIC110, thus DDR has to be added.
