Hello Koro,
Basically, the error MCU_SAFETY_ERRORn pin can signal external hardware that an error has occurred in the device and that the MCU_SAFETY island cannot recover on its own. This allows a system outside of the SoC to monitor for potentially fatal errors(errors that the device cannot self-recover from). Therefore an external controller is able to reset the device or keep the system in a safe, known state.
Hope it helps,
Thanks,
Alex
