AMIC110: PORz and nRESETIN_OUT

Hi,

In my design, I connected PORz and nRESETIN_OUT together to use the same reset signal from PMIC TPS65216 PGOOD.

The reset signal is always be driven to low. Then, I just found that nRESETIN_OUT could be a output to drive low.

Will it be a problem? Should I seperate PORz and nRESETIN_OUT?

Hi,

May I ask what will be the problem of this connection?

Will it cause the reset stuck at low? If not, there might be other hardware bugs in my circuit.

With this connection you will lose the possibility of a warm reset. With PORz and nRESETIN_OUT shorted, every warm reset issued by the processor will cause a power-on reset.
