Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us a question about how to expand "EtherCAT Process Data Memory Area"

like below of TMDSICE3359.

They want to increase PDO information over current "8KB EtherCAT Process Data Memory Area".

Question:

- Could you tell us how to expand "EtherCAT Process Data Memory Area"?

So, we would appreciate if you tell us the recommended way of expanding "EtherCAT Process Data Memory Area".

Hi matusan,

As you can see from above table, the EtherCAT Process Data Memory is allocated from PRU-ICSS shared memory which is constrained by the available memory on each processor. They may consider to upgrade to AM572x if 8KB is not sufficient on AM335x.
