CCS/TMDSICE3359: Flash erase problem

Hi,

I just bought the new TMDSICE3359, and I want to boot with SD card. I saw that the SPI flash must be erased so that the boot process will fall back to SD card boot mode. 

I followed the link below, but there was some problems.

After I run the SPI flash programmer on the CortexA8(the step I highlight), it is unable to read the correct device ID.

I wanna know what reasons cause this situation, and how can I fix it.

I followed the guide on my own TMDSICE3359, and did not encounter your error.

I would suggesting trying to step through the program using CCS, specifically to where the manufacturer ID is assigned, as it shouldn't be 0x0.

I couldn't understand what you mean in "specifically to where the manufacturer ID is assigned", I think I need more detail about this.

The issue that you're experiencing seems to be that the manufacturing ID is being read as 0x0. 

The value should be 0xef and the boardID should be 0x16.
