66AK2G12: Bootcomplete pin status through LED

Part Number: 66AK2G12

We have been using 66AK2G12ABY100 in our design and connected Bootcomplete Pin to LED Anode. Also we have connected 3.3V to LED Anode through 332ohm current limiting resistor. But LED is not glowing in stability even after DSP boot. Please recommend us the solution to overcome the problem. Attached circuit image for your reference.

  • Hi Karthick,

The IO cell for the BOOTCOMPLETE signal is not capable of driving an LED. Including a transistor that can be controlled by the BOOTCOMPLETE signal should solve any issues.  In addition you should include a pull-down signal on the BOOTCOMPLETE signal to ensure that it is low when the K2G is in a reset state. An example of the LED circuit is shown below. Connect the BOOTCOMPLETE where the SoC_LED1 signal is and add a pull-down resistor.
