DMVA2IPNC boot problem

Hi,

I tried to mount DMVA2IPNC on a tripod. So for that, I used two bottom holes on the camera to fit screws in them so that I can mount the camera on tripod. Ever since, the camera is not booting and when I see from the serial connection, it stops at:

DM36x initialization passed!

TI UBL Version: 1.50

Booting Catalog Boot Loader

BootMode = NAND

Starting NAND Copy...

and does not moves ahead to complete the booting. I guess the screws have damaged some parts of the PCB, or is it some other problem? Please help me out, what should I do?

Perhaps the nand image got corrupted somehow. Can reflash the nand device with the UBL, UBOOT, and Kernel?

How can I reflash the nand device? The booting stops right in the beginning and nothing happens... I am really stuck in this problem. Please give me suggestion what to do.

Thanks for your useful hints. Please let me know how can I Set the board to SD boot mode (SW4 = 010000b), or in NAND boot mode?

Hi,

I am using Kingston 2GB SD card for flashing the UBL, u-boot and linux kernel. I have connected DMVA2IPNC with the DM355 board. The only option on dm355 debug board is to close the JP2 jumper for SD boot. However, when I close this jumper and boot (with SD card inserted), it still boots in NAND mood and gets stuck at STARTING NAND COPY.....

Please tell me how can I boot in SD mood?
