What may cause DSP's RPE fail?

Hello,TI man.Now we use dsp to decode audio stream from ethernet,and decode->play it.

But,after we get audio stream about 10 minutes,the logs will appear:

AUDIO: DEC -> AUDIO: Rpe process call failed, status: 1

What does it mean?what may cause it ?

Can you comment the return statement present after this error log print and try to check if there are decode errors. Refer rpe_audio.c

Hello,I am not quite understand.

After this error appear at a high frequency,the playback sound will be wrong,it comes a soung "KA-KA..."

I assume that the error is caused by format WRONG aac stream.But,I am not sure about this.

Could you tell me what's the real cause?

Its difficult to tell without debugging on why this issueoccurs.

1. You can check the error code instead of returning immediately after Rpe_process() in rpe_audio.c

2. You can further add debug statements in xdm_server.c inside ti_tools/rpe to check the failure.
